The past six years since our new beginnning here at Saint Joseph Monastery have been spent prayerfully pondering what was needed so that we could fulfill our title: Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration. Each PCPA monastery should (ideally) have at least 24 Sisters to keep the 24 hours of adoration running smoothly. Why is it that in fifty years we have never come close to that ideal? We have also long desired to truly begin again and build a beautiful Monastery and Chapel for Our Lord, large enough to hold at least 24 Sisters. After much prayer and advice, we thought it would be better for our community to be located near a large city. We looked at many different areas close to Columbus, Ohio, but realized that with the funds we had, there was no way we could buy land and build at this time. So, we changed tactics and began to look for land that had existing houses or buildings, so that we could move now and build later. We asked our dear Lord to please show us by the end of the year His will for us.
